Coup D'Etat or Revolution ?

It was 41 yrs ago when Khmer People had stood up against the Dictatorship regime of Sihanouk and also against the Aggressors Yuon Vietcong & Yuon Hanoi who were allowed to stay at the door of Cambodia by the Head of State for life N.Sihanouk.

They called :" Coup d'Etat " what is calling now the REVOLUTION of People Power that were existed in Cambodia 41 yrs ago.

Hun Xen said that he heard the complaints raised by government workers in a number of ministries that are involved with this problem, and he compared the situation to the old proverbs whereby the husband would be a captain, the wife a major, and their children colonels. This reason stems from the fact that ministers’ wives meddle in their husbands’ state affairs.


Hun Xen asked his ministers to tell their wives to just sleep at home because the government workers really hate their husbands due to their wives and children who rule over them. Hun Xen said that some ministries have turned into the ministers’ wives organization.

On the road, Bopha explained me that everything is easy for us [Vietnamese] here in Cambodia. The Cambodian leaders are gullible, uncultivated and uneducated. She says that “we just need to let them cover the front of the political scene and let them drown themselves in the thirst of the power and the money”. After that, we can do all what we want to do. Sometimes, our leaders come to visit these Cambodian leaders when they are sick.
